About The Position

North Point Technology is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect with an active TS/SCI clearance to design and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and ADC (C2S/SC2S) isolated regions. The role involves building Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and secure networking within air-gapped, classified enclaves. The ideal candidate will possess deep AWS and DevOps expertise, along with hands-on experience in automating hardening and compliance within a DoD/IC environment.

Requirements

Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform within ADC/GovCloud isolated regions
CI/CD pipeline architecture in air-gapped environments with approval gates and change management
Multi-account landing zones, Transit Gateway networking, and hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, VPN) in classified enclaves
Automation of patching, AMI hardening, drift detection, and STIG/CIS compliance enforcement
Observability and logging strategies compliant with audit and records retention requirements
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform within ADC and GovCloud isolated regions.
Building CI/CD pipelines in air-gapped environments with approval gates and change management.
Designing the underlying network architecture, including multi-account landing zones, Transit Gateway networking, and hybrid connectivity via Direct Connect and VPN, within classified enclaves.
Automating patching, AMI hardening, drift detection, and STIG/CIS compliance enforcement.
Implementing observability and logging strategies that meet audit and records retention requirements.
