Cloud Infra HW Integration Engineer
About The Position
This is a contract role for a Cloud Infra HW Integration Engineer in Plano, Texas. The position involves hardware deployment and configuration, RHEL installation, proficiency with EMS tools, fabric and network configuration, and orchestration tool deployment. The engineer will work with deliverables from the Solution Architect/Design Team, understand networking concepts, and have knowledge of lab or datacenter environments. Responsibilities include following and creating Method of Procedures (MoP), performing deployments, upgrades, and integration of nodes, executing Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), providing status updates, troubleshooting, documenting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and handing over upgraded hardware to the Cloud Deployment team.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware platforms including Dell and HPE servers
- Proficient in RHEL installation and configuration
- Deployment and configuration experience with tools like NADCM, HP OneView, and Dell OpenManage
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with fabric configurations including Dell & HPE switches (OOB, Leaf, Spine, BLeaf)
- Skilled in deploying and configuring orchestration tools (CBAM & NCOM)
- Competence using deliverables of the Sol. Architect / Design Team: HLD, LLD, CIQ, DNP (Domain Network Plan), Cloud Certification Notes (CBIS, NCS, NCP, OCP)
- Good understanding of Networking concepts
- Good knowledge of a Lab or Datacenter to understand how Servers and Storage nodes are stacked, racked and cabled
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate solutions with stakeholders and customers

- Creates MoP based on customer requirements for Deployments
- Provides timely status to the Technical PM and other stakeholders
- Works closely with TPM and hands over the delivery of upgraded HW to the Cloud Deployment team
- Documents RCA, Lessons learnt and deviations to the blueprint solutions
- Design Orchestration tool deployment and deliverables are: HLD/LLC, CIQ
Responsibilities

- RAID, firmware, BIOS upgrades, and Dell EMC storage configuration
- RHEL installation and configuration on deployed hardware systems
- Deployment and configuration of EMS tools like NADCM, HP OneView, and Dell OpenManage
- Fabric configurations including Dell & HPE switches (OOB, Leaf, Spine, BLeaf)
- Deploying and configuring orchestration tools (CBAM & NCOM)
- Delivering related documentation (HLD, LLD, CIQ)
- Understanding of Networking concepts
- Understanding of Lab or Datacenter environments for server and storage node stacking, racking, and cabling
- Following existing MoP and creating MoP based on customer requirements for Deployments
- Performing deployment, upgrades, integration of nodes, and executing ATP
- Providing timely status to the Technical PM and other stakeholders
- Troubleshooting and communicating solutions with stakeholders and customers
- Working closely with TPM and handing over the delivery of upgraded HW to the Cloud Deployment team
- Documenting RCA, Lessons learnt and deviations to the blueprint solutions
- Design Orchestration tool deployment and deliverables (HLD/LLC, CIQ)
