About The Position

VF Corporation is seeking an experienced and strategic FinOps Analyst to join its Cloud Governance team. The role focuses on financial optimization, cost efficiency, and supporting high-level decision-making. The analyst will work across the organization to evaluate and improve FinOps policies and standards, optimize costs, and develop controls that strengthen financial oversight.

The position also involves financial performance monitoring, complex analysis, reporting, financial modeling, audits, and helping internal teams build FinOps knowledge and transparency. The role offers an annual hiring range of $103,680 to $129,600 and is eligible for additional compensation awards, which may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific eligibility details will be provided during recruiting and interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or related cloud finance, accounting, and controls background.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, cloud operations, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Support financial performance monitoring, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Conduct complex cost-benefit analyses and provide actionable recommendations for financial improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for application owners and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards.
• Lead financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Mentor and guide internal teams in FinOps education and transparency.
• Evaluate and improve FinOps policies and standards, support cost optimization, and help develop financial controls.
