About The Position
The Cloud Engineer will provide engineering expertise in building, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for DHS CISA. This role focuses on deploying mission-critical workloads in compliant environments while supporting modernization and Zero Trust initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of DHS, NIST, and FedRAMP cloud security standards.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage workloads in AWS GovCloud and Azure Gov.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement Zero Trust and FedRAMP-compliant security configurations.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and security engineers to align cloud solutions with DHS mission needs.
