About The Position

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution, as a cloud Operations Engineer. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members. Work in AWS Cloud infrastructure as well as the Army's integrated systems within the cloud.

Requirements

2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, networking, storage, memory, compute instances, or tools for DevOps such as automating builds in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, cloud formation, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
Knowledge of provisioning and triaging issues for cloud instance networking, computing, memory, or storage, and setting up servers that the platform is on, including VMs and networks
Ability to use active learning and analytical thinking within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or System Administration and 2+ years of experience in DevOps, or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, SSCP, CISSP, or DoD compliance IAT II or III Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Helm, GCP, or Azure
Experience in GitHub or GitLab CI/CD pipeline procedures
Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Knowledge of triaging and resolving networking, storage, memory, compute, or other issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
DevSecOps Processes, Linux+, CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Networking, and Cloud Engineering Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or similar Certification
