Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct prototypes to demonstrate proposed products and services will meet the requirements.
- In conjunction with the Sponsor’s software architect, Technical Director (TD) or designee, develop design guidance for applications developers, define target platforms, interface designs, research, test and recommend software and tools.
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations.
- Provide business and technical consolation to the Sponsor on defining and meeting strategic objectives and roadmaps.
- Provide complete assessments of the technical characteristics of proposals and alternatives considered in applications design.
- Provide a process for evaluating new technologies and provide cost benefit analysis and recommendations to the Sponsor for technology insertion.
- Identify and assess integration and interoperability (I&I) challenges in system and service development plans, considering technical, programmatic, and mission dimensions.
