About The Position

As a Cloud Engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. Using your platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. Requirements

2+ years of experience architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
2+ years of experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant computing environments in AWS or Azure
Experience with Terraform
Experience managing Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice To Haves

Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
TS/SCI clearance

Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.
Develop container management software to solve client challenges.
Hone skills using the latest cloud technologies.
Improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration.
Support the team by informing strategy and design during the containerization process.
Ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process.
Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers.
Support the development of critical cloud platforms.
