About The Position

As a cloud computing application architect, you will create cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs and leverage cloud capabilities. This role involves developing cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications and products, aiming to improve client environments using the latest cloud technologies. You will work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. Responsibilities include recommending tools and solutions based on research of current environments and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You will collaborate with your team to help clients overcome difficult challenges in the cloud and will have opportunities to grow skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Cloud engineering
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to develop with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
• Ability to develop with scripting tools such as Python, Base, Ansible, or PowerShell
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
