About The Position

The objectives of the Technical SETA are to assist with the coordination, monitoring, communication, and integration of all technical aspects of the Program lifecycle. This includes attending meetings, workshops, conferences, and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert, assisting with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews, and serving as a liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government, and Transition partners. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and making recommendations concerning technical reports, data, and Performer approaches. Additionally, the Cloud Engineer will select, establish, curate, and maintain collaborative communication, issue tracking, and configuration environments for program use. They will provide reach-back support for program-related requirements for systems integration, design, development, modeling and simulation, data analytics, and architecture design. The role also requires examining data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program and providing technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program but integral to its success.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelors' degree in computer science or a related technical field
  • FIVE (5) or more years of experience in cloud engineering.
  • Experience should include but not be limited to: Constructing and administering unclassified and classified commercial cloud environments
  • Defining of cloud requirements
  • Developing architecture diagrams to support an approved Authority to Develop (ATD) determination
  • Rolling out, delivering, and setting up the underlying cloud environment
  • Developing the final system design to support an approved Authority to Operate (ATO) determination

Nice To Haves

  • Masters' degree or PhD in degree in computer science or a related technical field
  • FOUR (4) or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
  • ONE (1) or more year of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.
