About The Position

The Cloud Engineer will support the configuration and operation of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) cloud infrastructure services. The Cloud Engineer will partner with developers, engineers, business partners, and key University stakeholders to deliver cloud services. This role supports cloud workloads, automates cloud infrastructure maintenance, and contributes to the development of operational monitoring capabilities. The Cloud Engineer will contribute to UCSF’s operations by helping ensure UCSF’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is operable, secure, efficient, and effective in service of the University’s mission. The Cloud Engineer will support the delivery of information technology services across customers and stakeholders. This role will support UCSF’s vision while working within established processes and standards.
