About The Position

iQuasar is seeking to fill a Cloud Engineer position in St. Louis, MO. This role involves integrating data from internal and external sources to build a data processing system. The Cloud Engineer will create new pipelines, build reusable components at scale to support reporting & analytics data products, and write complex queries to transform raw data sources into accessible models through coding. Responsibilities include cleaning, preparing, transforming, and optimizing data at scale for integration and consumption, implementing data management projects, and restructuring current web architecture. The role also requires solving complex data issues and performing root cause analysis to proactively resolve product issues, as well as owning the data pipeline and supporting systems failures.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Azure cloud native technologies.
  • 2+ years experience with developing ETL pipelines in Azure using tools such as Azure Data factory, Event hubs, Event grid, Azure functions.
  • 2+ years developing data engineering pipeline with Databricks or Spark.
  • 1+ year working with technologies such as CosmoDB, AzureSQL, Redis, Synapse.
  • 1+ year working with orchestration tool such as Airflow or Oozie.
  • Strong programming foundation with python or java.
  • Strong experience with SQL.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Experience working with streaming and batching solutions.
  • Experience working with csv, json, xml and complex structures.
  • Familiar with devOps process, CI/CD, security, coding standard and SDLC cycle.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • No dual citizenship.
  • Based in St. Louis; relocation or weekly M-F travel to St. Louis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with migrations to major cloud.
  • Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project experience.
