About The Position

Provide technical expertise in a range of cloud technologies including cloud development, cloud architecture, cloud system engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps engineering and operations, and Agile development methodologies. This role involves leading teams on projects of varying complexity, creating solutions that impact financial, scheduling, and methodological aspects, and preparing long and short-range plans for application selection, system development, processes, procedures, and production methods. The Cloud Engineer will act as a liaison to translate customer project requirements into technical specifications, manage project stakeholders, and serve as the technical point of contact for all cloud engineering matters. The position requires planning, executing, and closing projects to meet or exceed customer expectations, understanding project requirements and KPIs, and implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. This includes planning team structure, activities, and involvement in project management, setting up tools and infrastructure, defining and managing the DevSecOps process, and reviewing/validating software code. The role also involves troubleshooting and fixing code bugs, monitoring processes throughout the lifecycle, encouraging automation, identifying and deploying security measures through vulnerability assessment and risk management, incident management, root cause analysis, and coordinating with teams and customers. Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools and managing periodic reporting are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in cloud technologies (development, architecture, system engineering, security, DevSecOps, Agile).
  • Lead teams on complex projects, creating solutions affecting financial, scheduling, and methodology.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical requirements.
