About The Position
ASSYST is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support cloud migration, infrastructure support, and cloud operations in Sterling, VA. This is an onsite role. The engineer will support cloud environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and help maintain secure, reliable, high-performing infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure platforms.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud migration, cloud infrastructure support, and operations.
- Hands-on experience administering AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- AWS Certified Administrator – Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification or higher.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support cloud migration, deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and availability.
- Implement cloud security best practices, backup, disaster recovery, and access controls.
- Collaborate with technical teams to maintain and improve cloud operations.
