About The Position

The Cloud Engineer Lead defines and enforces enterprise cloud architecture standards and best practices, and leads large-scale cloud initiatives, migrations, and modernization programs. The role partners with security, networking, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions; drives adoption of automation, DevOps, and governance frameworks; and serves as a technical advisor to leadership while mentoring senior engineers. The position is located in Jacksonville, Florida, with stated hours of 8 AM–5 PM EST.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Azure experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity, storage, and compute.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Defender for Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-premises integration scenarios.

Nice To Haves

• One or more Azure certifications: AZ-104 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, highly preferred), AZ-305 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert), or AZ-400 (Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Five years of hands-on Azure engineering experience.
• Experience deploying infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
