About The Position

Plus3 IT Systems is an IT services firm specializing in Cloud, AI, and advanced technical solutions. The Cloud Engineering Intern will explore, identify, and validate services, models, and applications to create a custom business solution that enhances and streamlines team members’ daily job functions. The intern will take part in companywide learning sessions focused on emergent technologies and career best practices, and work alongside engineers and the corporate operations team on real business challenges to build hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field at a Virginia college or university; the institution may be public or private and a two- or four-year institution.
• Have a high school diploma and have not already completed an undergraduate degree.
• Successfully complete cloud- or security-related courses and lab exercises.
• Demonstrate technical involvement, such as participating in or completing a Capture the Flag competition, active membership in a cybersecurity or technical club, independent research, or maintaining a personal at-home lab.
• Successfully pass employment verification as part of the hiring process.
• Be willing and able to process for and obtain a security clearance.
