About The Position

The Cloud DevSecOps Engineer contributes to Regions’ cloud strategy by developing, communicating, and implementing robust, secure cloud CI/CD pipelines. The role partners with stakeholders and technology teams to create fully automated pipelines that apply current DevSecOps practices and support cloud deployments. The engineer develops autonomous CI/CD platforms and release-candidate pipelines; automates infrastructure, services, applications, and operational tasks; and incorporates build, quality, security, deployment, and testing activities. The role also responds to CI/CD performance issues, helps troubleshoot production incidents, builds tools to reduce errors, and supports root-cause analysis with clear documentation and metrics. It develops and tests Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and Packer scripts to establish immutable infrastructure. The position collaborates with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Software Delivery, and Quality Assurance. It ensures compliance with risk management, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements and supports process improvements and disciplined change management. The position is currently offsite, with associates primarily working from home and potentially attending meetings or events onsite as needed. It is preferably located near a Regions office within its retail branch footprint. This is a full-time position, exempt from timekeeping requirements and not eligible for overtime pay.
