About The Position

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including application containerization, workload deployment, resource tuning, and troubleshooting cluster issues
  • 2+ years of experience designing modular, reusable pipelines, optimizing performance, such as parallelization or caching, and implementing advanced workflows, such as multi-project pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
  • 2+ years of experience in building scalable Terraform architectures, managing multi-environment deployments, including dev, stage, and prod, and implementing remote state management with secure CI/CD practices
  • Experience in designing secure, compliant solutions utilizing AWS services, such as EKS, ECR, IAM, or EC2, with GovCloud environments, and implementing least-privilege IAM policies
  • Experience in secure software development practices, including protected runners, secrets management, access control, and environment isolation for reliable and safe deployments
  • Knowledge of Git best practices, including clean commit history, branching strategies, and optimized codebase organization for collaboration and reuse
  • Ability to create standardized, reusable components, such as GitLab CI templates or Terraform modules, and eliminate duplication across projects and teams
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EKS preferred
  • Integrating engineering systems with operational tools, such as ServiceNow, creating monitoring dashboards, and using data to enhance reliability and efficiency
  • Working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to design scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient systems using cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architecture principles
  • Ability to translate technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders, take ownership of systems, proactively identify risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail to maintain documentation quality in the production of operational runbooks or playbooks
  • Top Secret clearance
  • AWS Cloud Certifications
