About The Position

As a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will develop container management software to solve tough client challenges, hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies, and look for ways to improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you will support the team by informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You will recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers, and continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
5+ years of experience deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS environments including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation tools, including Terraform and Gitlab CI/CD.
Experience with DevOps, Git repositories and CI/CD leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to configure AWS Cloud environments.
Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, AWS, or Jenkins.
Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python or JavaScript for automation purposes.
Experience developing, managing, and securing containers.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
Experience with creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script.
Top Secret clearance.
