About The Position

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation for a SaaS Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. You'll own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability while working closely with engineering, security, and product teams. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, deploying and supporting scalable environments, building and maintaining infrastructure for integrating multiple platforms and services via APIs, developing automation scripts, designing and implementing observability, logging, and monitoring solutions, providing test execution infrastructure, and integrating automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with engineering and security teams to build reliable deployment infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience, plus 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workflows (our CI/CD pipelines and test suites run in containers)
• Experience building and integrating APIs for platform connectivity and automation
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
• Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Strong understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and deployment issues

Nice To Haves

• Master's Computer Science preferred
• Experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms (SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt, etc.)
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing
• Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Professional, CKA, Terraform Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
• Deploy, configure, and support scalable environments across development, testing, staging, and production
• Build and maintain infrastructure for integrating multiple platforms and services via APIs
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and operational workflows
• Design and implement observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for platform health and performance
• Provide test execution infrastructure and integrate test automation into deployment pipelines
• Integrate automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with engineering and security teams to build reliable deployment infrastructure
