About The Position

AnaVation is seeking an experienced, senior-level Cloud Developer to design and implement cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. In this role, you’ll automate cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and help support a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure that delivers reliable, high-bandwidth services across the enterprise. This position is 100% on-site in Chantilly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile framework
  • Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments
  • Proficiency with: AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S cloud platforms
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Proficiency with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency with Cloud security implementation
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
  • Proficiency with Monitoring and logging solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred
  • Knowledge of Nutanix and Terraform
  • Experience with Python, .NET C#, or other development languages
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools
  • Experience with Microservices architecture
  • Experience with API Gateway implementation
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Cost optimization techniques for cloud resources
  • Experience with Hybrid cloud and on-premises integration
  • Experience with Serverless computing (Lambda, S3)
  • Experience with Database services (RDS, DynamoDB)
  • Experience with Cloud networking and VPC configuration
  • Experience with Security accreditation processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS
  • Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
  • Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
  • Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
  • Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
  • Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
  • Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
  • Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
  • Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
  • Support the multi-enclave environment
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration
