About The Position

This role is responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable various cloud service models including Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). The position requires the ability to implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices, analyze applications to recommend cloud migration or deployment strategies, and provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud and on-premise services. The Cloud Developer will also be responsible for developing and implementing cloud applications, migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud, debugging cloud stacks, managing policies for cloud service usage, handling requests for new technology, establishing secure cloud environments, and ensuring appropriate availability/uptime designs. This role involves independently designing and developing new software products or significant enhancements to existing cloud software.

Requirements

Bachelors degree
5 years of experience
Top Secret clearance required

Responsibilities

Developing cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
Implementing automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
Analyzing applications and making recommendations across multiple areas to identify what platforms can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into a cloud environment.
Providing strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud agnostic, and on-site premise services.
Developing and implementing cloud applications.
Migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud.
Debugging cloud stacks.
Managing policies for the use of cloud services.
Handling requests for new technology.
Establishing a secure cloud environment.
Ensuring appropriate availability/uptime design.
Independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.
