About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to join our team. This role involves developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), implementing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud performance, modernizing applications for cloud readiness, ensuring application security, and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless architecture, and cloud monitoring tools is preferred.

Requirements

• Must hold a current Information Technology California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) agreement with the California Department of General Services and must comply with the instructions, terms and conditions stated in the Leveraged Procurement Agreement.
• Must submit all data/information and attachments requested in the offer format described below under Section D, Subsection 2, Offer Requirements.
• At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience with AWS cloud platform and services like Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)/virtual machines (VM) Instances, S3/Cloud Storage, Serverless (AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions), and IAM (Identity & Access Management).
• At least three (3) to five (5) years with CI/CD tools in particular GitHub and basic version control workflows.
• At least three (3) years of experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience to build, deploy, and debug basic web applications with familiarity with APIs [Representational State Transfer (REST)] and using Python, Node.js or C#.
• At least three (3) years of experience using Docker, Kubernetes [Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)] and container orchestration.
• At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience of structured query language (SQL) and/or not only SQL (NoSQL) databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience with Encryption standards, Secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault), Compliance frameworks [Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC2)]
