About The Position
AZURE CLOUD ENGINEER Cloud Architect will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premise platform to a cloud-based infrastructure. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT ● Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud ● Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. ● Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues. ● Conducting risk assessments ● Identifying technical requirements ● Managing project timelines ● Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment ● Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration ● Providing post-migration support and address any issues that arise. ● Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures. ● Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts. ● Implement security and compliance policies. ● Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing. ● Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Requirements
- Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
- 10+ years of related experience
- Azure Microsoft 365
- Terraform
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Cloud Architecture
- Cloud Security
- PowerShell
- Python
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong ability to self organize and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to obtain TS/SCI w/Poly
- US citizenship required
- 8570 compliant with a Security + certificate and Cloud Certification in representative cloud where work is performed (Azure or AWS)
