About The Position
As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. This role involves using cloud architecture skills to improve law enforcement in protecting our nation by developing cloud-based solutions for tough problems. The position supports application teams and enhances a large cloud-based application for mission-critical operations, utilizing the latest cloud technologies to improve the client's environment. The role requires informing strategy and design for a law enforcement client, ensuring standards are met during cloud migration. It involves recommending tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. The candidate will lead a team to help the client overcome cloud challenges and broaden skill sets in areas like Terraform and Elasticsearch while developing critical systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in an IT environment
- 8+ years of experience developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment
- Experience with multiple CSPs
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- AWS or Azure Cloud Certifications
- Certified Cloud Security Professional Certification
