About The Position

Lenel/S2 is seeking a motivated professional to join its Cloud Engineering/Managed Services team. This role focuses on onboarding and securing On-Guard AWS hosted single-tenant environments for key customers, while also automating sustainable and repeatable architectures for future growth. As a system development engineer, you will be responsible for the overall health of our AWS cloud-based managed service and develop key automation tools. Your responsibilities will include creating availability and health metrics, monitoring performance, performing regular system maintenance, and architecting innovative solutions for the On-Guard Cloud access control system in a large, distributed environment. You will automate routine tasks to enhance team agility and become an expert in system automation for Lenel On-Guard Cloud on AWS. You will collaborate closely with internal customers to understand and resolve operational challenges, and work with key customers on onboarding, supporting their expansions, and addressing issues. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, including reverse engineering existing solutions when necessary.

Responsibilities

Onboard and secure On-Guard AWS hosted single-tenant environments for key customers.
Automate sustainable and repeatable architecture for future growth.

Work closely with internal customers to understand their operational challenges and provide successful outcomes.
Work closely with key customers onboarding and supporting their expansions and issues.
Dig deep to find answers, sometimes requiring reverse engineering existing solutions.
Replace legacy on-premises access control servers and migrate them to the AWS-hosted OnGuard Cloud Access Control System.
Fully manage the customer’s OnGuard application, the OnGuard infrastructure, and the underlying AWS environment to ensure high availability and strong cybersecurity.
Onboard both existing OnGuard customers and “greenfield” customers.
Support the latest OnGuard versions.
Design new automated solutions and enhance monitoring of access control systems.
Improve shared processes with internal Honeywell teams (e.g., automated certificate rotation), automation platforms, and customers.
