About The Position

Lenel/S2 is looking for a driven professional to join its Cloud Engineering/Managed Services team to onboard and secure the On-Guard AWS hosted single-tenant environments for our key customers, as well as helping us automate sustainable and repeatable architecture for future growth. As a system development engineer, you will be responsible for the overall health of our AWS cloud-based managed service and develop key automation tools for our customers. You will create availability and health metrics, monitor performance, perform regular system maintenance, and architect innovative solutions running our On-Guard Cloud access control system in a large, distributed environment. You will automate routine tasks enabling the team to be quick and agile. You'll be one of our experts in system automation for Lenel On-Guard Cloud on AWS. You’ll work closely with internal customers to understand their operational challenges and provide successful outcomes. You will work closely with our key customers onboarding and afterwards supporting their expansions and issues. You should enjoy digging deep to find answers, sometimes this will require reverse engineering existing solutions, a situation you thrive in. A day in the life of an OnGuard Cloud Team Member If you thrive in an environment where every day is different, OnGuard Cloud is that team: engineers switch between onboarding projects, automation design, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal and customer teams. We help customers reduce technical debt by replacing legacy on‑premises access control servers and migrating them to the AWS‑hosted OnGuard Cloud Access Control System. Our team fully manages the customer’s OnGuard application, the OnGuard infrastructure, and the underlying AWS environment to ensure high availability and strong cybersecurity. We onboard both existing OnGuard customers and “greenfield” customers who are new to the platform, which makes every onboarding project unique. We support the latest OnGuard versions, so customers benefit from improved availability, performance, quality, and newly released features. Engineers on this team design new automated solutions and enhance monitoring of access control systems. The team works from a robust backlog of features and user stories to improve shared processes with internal Honeywell teams (for example, automated certificate rotation), our automation platforms, and our customers.
