About The Position

This role requires a skilled Cloud Database Architect with a strong background in AWS and SQL Server, focusing on implementing and managing cloud data infrastructure. The architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms, ensuring robust and efficient data solutions within regulated environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
• 8+ years of overall IT / Engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server on AWS experience
• 3+ years implementing Delphix-based replication and provisioning
• 3+ years designing and implementing IaC tools for cloud data infrastructure
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services related to data platforms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
• Experience with NoSQL platforms
• Banking or financial services domain experience
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale, regulated environments
• AWS certifications preferred
