About The Position

The Cloud Data Engineer will join the development team to build modern, cloud-native applications across leading cloud platforms, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Azure. The role works within the Office of Information Management (OIM) under the guidance of the Solutions Engineering and Architecture Team (SEAT). The engineer will support the Data Management team with data transmission tasks, explore emerging data technologies, stay current with industry advancements, and document processes for knowledge sharing. The position is contingent upon award.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• At least 4 years of experience with Azure App Service, AKS, Functions, Storage, and Databases.
• At least 3 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• At least 3 years of experience with one or more of C#, Java, Python, Go, and Node.js.
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• At least 3 years of experience with IAM, data protection, and cloud security best practices.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.
• At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• At least 4 years of experience with communication, problem solving, and collaboration.
• Strong background in software engineering and cloud services.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
