About The Position

This role will provide technical and consultative support on Huntington's core finance and HR platforms. The Cloud & Data Engineer will partner with Business Analysts to confirm and define requirements for data pipelines, analyze, design, and develop systems based upon user specifications, and provide technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems. The role requires an in-depth knowledge of and work with the technical tools available for systems development and support, as well as maintaining and demonstrating knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington. This position may also assist with identifying training needs or training less experienced staff, and may serve as a project leader for specific projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in Cloud Engineering, Software Development, or Data Analytics.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, glue/lambda, and ETL cloud development.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of professional experience with Python and Pyspark
• Experience with GIT/GITHub, and CICD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum team.
• Experience working in multi-platform environment
• Ability to balance both development and support roles.
• Experience in working on projects that involve business segments.
• Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups.

Responsibilities
