About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security SME to join our growing team. As a contributor to our growth team, you will be at the epicenter of emerging cloud computing technologies, helping to establish a foundation that will evolve to include multiple agencies. The individual in this role will help create security postures, specific to a cloud environment. This role involves working closely with system architects, administrators, and mission partners to identify security risks, implement mitigations, and enhance the overall security posture of a highly dynamic cloud environment.

Requirements

• Skilled Cloud Security SME
• Experience working closely with system architects, administrators, and mission partners
• Ability to identify security risks, implement mitigations, and enhance the overall security posture of a highly dynamic cloud environment
• Experience advising Government stakeholders on multi-cloud, multi-agency collaborative activities
• Experience navigating agency specific policy requirements
• Experience assessing and identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities in cloud environments
• Experience developing and implementing security controls and measures to mitigate risks
• Experience researching, evaluating and recommending new security tools, techniques, and technologies
• Experience assisting with monitoring and tracking of cyber security solution offerings
• Experience providing cloud strategy services that cover all security fabrics
• Experience assisting with the relocation of an organization’s business applications, data, and workloads
• Experience defining and documenting best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

Responsibilities

• Advising Government stakeholders on multi-cloud, multi-agency collaborative activities that require navigating agency specific policy requirements
• Assessing and identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities in cloud environments
• Developing and implementing security controls and measures to mitigate risks
• Research, evaluate and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies
• Assist with monitoring and tracking of cyber security solution offerings
• Providing cloud strategy services that cover all security fabrics and are available to the Government to assist with the relocation of an organization’s business applications, data, and workloads to ensure maximum effectiveness of the multi-cloud environment
• Defining and documenting best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
