About The Position

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this consulting position provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team. This role owns the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints. The position leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment. The role exercises judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations. This is a self-starter role that provides direction and mentoring to project teams and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. The role also supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions, and resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience relevant to this position including a minimum of 10 years of functional consulting experience
  • Prior team leadership or management experience preferred
  • Business process experience in the following areas:
  • Oracle Cloud: 4-5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting Studio, Smartview, Subledger Accounting, Accounting Hub Cloud.
  • 5-10 years/solid overall Record to Report process implementation experience.
  • Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops.
  • Ability to manage complex data conversion cycles and explain best practices in migrating historical account balances.
  • Holds BS in Accounting or related field OR equivalent experience
  • CPA is a plus
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, when required
