About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a Cloud Computing Application Architect to build, manage, and secure cloud-native container platforms that address client needs and use cloud capabilities effectively. The role involves engineering container and cloud management solutions, contributing to strategy and design, and ensuring standards are followed throughout containerization. The architect will recommend resources to help clients securely adopt and manage containers, while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms and strengthening DevOps skills. The position is hybrid and based in McLean, Virginia. Applicants must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation and eligibility requirements for classified-information access.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases across environments.
Experience developing, managing, and securing cloud-native solutions, including containers in AWS.
Experience implementing, maintaining, and updating Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of DevOps or DevSecOps experience, or at least 8 years of DevOps or DevSecOps experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment paradigms.
Experience with AWS CDK.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with AWS logging and organization management solutions such as CloudWatch, Identity Center, OpenSearch, and Organizations.
Experience addressing Governance, Risk, and Compliance needs within FedRAMP Moderate or PCI DSS v4.0 regulatory regimes.
Experience in a government-facing regulated environment with an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
Experience with keyboard engineering implementations.
Experience with Amazon Q.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and BASH.
