About The Position
We are seeking a Cloud Billing & Finance Analyst to support a confidential client in managing cloud financial operations, billing analysis, and cost reporting. In this role, you will analyze cloud spending, reconcile AWS billing data, support budgeting and forecasting initiatives, and provide actionable financial insights to improve cloud cost visibility and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud finance, financial analysis, and reporting, with experience working with AWS billing data and executive-level dashboards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud billing, financial analysis, or finance operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Financial Modeling, Data Analysis
- Experience with: AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR), Chargeback/Showback Models, Budgeting & Forecasting, Executive Dashboards & Reporting, Cloud Spend Analysis & Cost Tracking, Marketplace Subscription Management
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
- Must be willing to support and work with a government client.
- Must successfully complete a government background investigation (CJIS-type clearance).

- Experience with BI and dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Responsibilities
- Analyze and reconcile AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR) to ensure billing accuracy
- Monitor cloud spending and identify cost trends and optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain chargeback/showback models for cloud cost allocation
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Create executive dashboards and financial reports for cloud spend analysis
- Manage cloud marketplace subscriptions and billing records
- Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to improve cloud financial governance
- Provide accurate reporting and recommendations to support business decision-making
