About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Cloud / Azure Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing cloud migration strategies, architecting cloud-native solutions, implementing governance frameworks, and driving cloud adoption across the organization. This role requires extensive hands-on Azure experience, infrastructure automation expertise, and the ability to lead technical teams while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

10+ years of overall IT experience as a Senior/Lead Engineer.
7+ years of Azure Engineering/Architecture experience.
5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-native and cloud-based solutions.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
Experience designing cloud migration strategies and cloud transformation roadmaps.
Strong knowledge of: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Virtualization Technologies, Cloud Networking Principles.
Hands-on experience with: Azure Architecture, Azure Governance, Cloud Security, Multi-Tenant Solutions, Cloud-Native Deployments.
Experience migrating on-premises applications to cloud environments.
Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef.
Experience with: DNS, NTP, Active Directory (AD), ADFS, Group Policy, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Logging Services, Web Proxies.
Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and cloud operations.
Experience supporting development teams in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks: PCI, SOX, ISO, HIPAA, PII.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Related Technical Discipline
Experience within: Financial Services, Lending Industry, E-Commerce Platforms
Experience supporting .NET development environments.
Experience with Serverless Computing architectures.
Azure certifications are highly preferred.
Experience building large-scale enterprise cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and implement highly available, scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure cloud platforms.
Develop and execute cloud migration and cloud adoption roadmaps.
Architect cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions for medium to large enterprises.
Mentor engineering and development teams on Azure best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, operations teams, security teams, and enterprise architects.
Define and manage cloud project technical milestones and CAPEX/OPEX cost models.
Design and implement cloud governance strategies and operational standards.
Partner with Information Security teams to implement cloud security best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cloud infrastructure and operational excellence.
Establish cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
Lead infrastructure modernization and application migration initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight throughout project lifecycles.
