About The Position

Synergy ECP is seeking a Cloud/AWS Developer to design, develop, document, integrate, test, and deliver scripts, code, and other services using agile DevOps project life-cycle methodologies and processes in a cloud environment. The role involves building high-performance and reliable data transport mechanisms to support a newly formed enterprise audit service for government agencies. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software applications and/or databases, including web applications and user interfaces. A Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or a related field is required, along with 8 years of Software Engineering experience. An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may substitute for the degree, totaling 12 years. Additionally, 3+ years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains is necessary. A TS/SCI clearance is required, and U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
• 8 years of Software Engineering experience. An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 12 years.
• 3+ years work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains.
• Strong development skills and JAVA experience.
• High level of proficiency with Python.
• Experience operating within the cloud. Preferably Amazon Web Services C2S.
• Experience building, securing and supporting internal service API’s.
• Experience with large scale LINUX environments.
• GUI development.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with DevOps and integrating with Gitlab.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Experience with open source COTS/GOTS/FOSS solutions.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
