GDIT is seeking a Cloud Architect to support USPACOM J6 IT Modernization Project Support activities at Camp Smith, HI, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoD/enterprise IT environment.

Final Top Secret security clearance.
Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.
Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders.
Cloud certification from AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or DoD cloud ecosystem experience.

Responsibilities

Support IT modernization projects from requirements definition through planning, integration, testing, and transition.
Collaborate with technical teams to mature prototypes, modernization sprints, and enterprise capability improvements.
Develop cloud and hybrid-cloud architecture recommendations that support secure modernization and mission scalability.
Coordinate cloud design decisions with cybersecurity, network, application, and infrastructure stakeholders.
Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
