Cloud Architect
About The Position
As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. This role involves developing cloud-based solutions for critical applications and products, using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments. You will work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. Responsibilities include recommending tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You will collaborate with your team to help clients overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud and grow your skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud architecture
- Experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment
- Experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP
- Experience with scripting tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Experience with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Top Secret clearance
