About The Position

The Cloud Architect is a leading performer that designs, implements, and maintains scalable and secure cloud architecture solutions to meet business needs. This role collaborates with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
6-8 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

Designs cloud architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Develops and implements best practices for cloud deployments and operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
Oversee the migration of applications, data, and systems to cloud environments.
Evaluates and recommends cloud platforms, tools, and services.
Ensures compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in cloud environments.
Monitors cloud systems, identifying and resolving performance or reliability issues.
Creates and maintains technical documentation for cloud architectures and solutions.
Research emerging cloud technologies and advise on their potential application.
Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Leverages creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
Contributes to departmental strategy and goal development.
Creatively and strategically supports key business objectives.
Participates in and may manage large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance.
Performs high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering and application of business knowledge.
Generates fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.
Proactively investigates and/or leads investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
Performs other duties as needed.
