About The Position

Full Time Direct Hire opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud and Network Engineer responsible for migrating critical systems from on-prem to the cloud. This role will deploy modern cloud technologies, strengthen cloud security, and help build a secure, scalable, and high performing cloud environment. The Cloud and Network Engineer will oversee the operation, maintenance, security, and procedures of the organization's global computer and network systems (Cloud based and on-prem).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud-based server and network system administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical work experience and industry certifications).
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Required).
• Deep expertise in AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateways, Load Balancers, WAFs, VPNs) and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewall management, and infrastructure hardening.
• Excellent documentation skills and the ability to articulate technical strategy to executive leadership.

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure while leading the migration of key legacy systems from on-premise environments.
• Manage AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, transit gateways, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Oversee seamless hybrid cloud connectivity between AWS cloud assets and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain the global network architecture roadmap, evaluating new technologies that align with long-term business goals.
• Implement robust network security controls, including security groups, firewalls, WAFs, intrusion prevention systems, antivirus, antispam, and patch management.
• Administer domain functions, server infrastructure, workstations, telecommunications, and end-user rights while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
• Manage business continuity planning, disaster recovery procedures, backup operations, and system stability.
• Handle vendor relationships, license agreements, and hardware/software procurement negotiations.
