About The Position

We are building and maintaining modern, secure, scalable cloud environments that support mission critical government applications. As a Cloud Administrator & IaC Developer, you'll be at the center of that mission—designing resilient Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, improving deployment automation, and applying DevSecOps best practices to ensure our teams can deliver high quality solutions with speed and confidence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, takes pride in clean automation, and thrives in collaborative environments. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a DevSecOps administrator, system administrator, cloud engineer, or similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Two or more years of hands on Azure experience, specifically with App Service, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Virtual Networks, Key Vault, and Entra.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental networking and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, version control, build automation, and deployment automation.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
  • Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and tailor communication to technical and non technical audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Azure services such as App Service, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Virtual Networks, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
  • Configure and administer AWS environments and services within modern cloud ecosystems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configuration, deployment, performance, network communication, and system availability.
  • Design, build, and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar tools.
  • Ensure IaC modules follow best practices for reusability, security, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Support environment provisioning, configuration standardization, and automation of infrastructure lifecycles.
  • Implement and manage monitoring/observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and comparable AWS tools.
  • Develop alerting, dashboards, and health checks to ensure system reliability and timely incident response.
  • Support build and deployment automation processes and CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development and security teams.
  • Apply best practices for least privilege, zero trust, redundancy, vulnerability remediation, and credential management.
  • Assist teams with log interpretation, change management, and deployment troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, product owners, cloud SMEs, and security teams to execute cross functional objectives.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, audience appropriate explanations.
  • Contribute to documentation, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
