About The Position
BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Clothing Recovery Clerk to join their team. This role is responsible for providing members with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized. Team members are expected to carry out job functions as assigned, support club policies, and strive for flawless execution. They should act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, and ensure a safe and positive environment. Collaboration, respect, speed, agility, innovation, and a friendly attitude are also key aspects of the role. Members are expected to deliver service excellence, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive experience. The role involves a daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA), and maintaining Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean standards. Club Standards require teamwork to deliver a Grand Opening look daily, ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, signage is visible and accurate, and the club is clean and organized. Understanding departmental reporting and the connection between execution and business impact is also important.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities
- Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
- Replenishes, refills, stocks, and straightens merchandise. Ensures proper signage of merchandise.
- Keeps sales floor clean, neat and full organized.
- Replenishes milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
- Folds and organizes apparel, books, and other merchandise.
- Removes empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, display cases, and replenishes box bins. Uses cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
- Returns all returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
- Maintains all club policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
- Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
- Acts with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.
