Clothing Processing Outfitter- Full Time
About The Position
The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving. This role involves adhering to Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, utilizing the inventory management system, and ensuring efficient replenishment of merchandise to the sales floor. The position also requires knowledge of advertised sales for effective backroom organization, assisting with truck unloading, pricing maintenance, and signage. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring backstock is accessible, and providing exceptional customer service are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
- Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
- Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
- Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Seldom/Never sits.
- Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system.
- Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system.
- Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment.
- Unloads trucks as needed.
- Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
- Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies.
- Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
