About The Position

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for processing apparel merchandise shipments, from receiving goods through stocking merchandise on the sales floor and in receiving. The role follows Visual Merchandising and MPS standards and uses inventory management systems to process, organize, and replenish merchandise. It also includes maintaining the work and backstock areas, assisting with truck unloading, pricing, and signage, and providing customer service. The position works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use company computer systems and devices, including System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and the Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information, including plan-o-grams, visual guides, and merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reports and organize merchandise for sales-floor replenishment.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to walk and stand regularly and perform computer work.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise shipments upon receipt in accordance with Visual Merchandising and MPS standards, using the inventory management system.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor according to Visual Merchandising standards, using the inventory management system.
• Stay informed about advertised sales to support backroom organization and replenishment.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with merchandise pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Keep backstock merchandise organized and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help ensure a pleasant shopping experience for guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
