About The Position

Scheels is seeking a Part-Time Clothing Merchandiser. The role involves unloading product, tagging, folding, hanging, pricing, and restocking merchandise. It also includes assisting customers and sales associates, following merchandising guides, coordinating with managers, maintaining store appearance, and working independently or with a team. The position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work an assigned schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9am and 10pm, Monday through Saturday, 10am and 7pm, Sunday.
Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays; must be available a minimum of two full weekends a month.
Average hours per week is 15 hours.

Responsibilities

Unload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stock
Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display
Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products
Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize the needs of the shops
Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement
Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas
Ability to be organized, multitask, have problem-solving skills, and maintain all aspects of a merchandiser role
Ability to work independently and with the team
Exercise judgment and tact, and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization
Demonstrates attention to detail
Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Merchandising Lead
Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
