Responsibilities

  • Scan backtags and merchandise UPCs for in-stock status and then fill shelves, peg hooks, and fixtures with the appropriate product, with an emphasis on efficiency and quality of work
  • Assist customers and sales people with retrieving product
  • Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed
  • Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the sore and back stock areas
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit number and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organization
  • Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of a support role
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
  • Exercise judgement and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization
  • Strong oral/ written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
  • Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evening, weekends, and holidays
