Responsibilities

Scan backtags and merchandise UPCs for in-stock status and then fill shelves, peg hooks, and fixtures with the appropriate product, with an emphasis on efficiency and quality of work
Assist customers and sales people with retrieving product
Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed
Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the sore and back stock areas
Ability to add and subtract two digit number and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organization
Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of a support role
Ability to work independently and with the team
Exercise judgement and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization
Strong oral/ written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely and professional manner
Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
Demonstrates attention to detail
Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
