About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking detail-oriented, organized, and dependable individuals to join their team as Clothing Inspectors. This role is ideal for a 'go getter' who enjoys working independently and meeting production goals. The work involves sorting, hanging, and tagging clothing to ensure it meets Goodwill's quality standards. Requirements

Must be a 'go getter', goal-oriented with an eye for details.

Ability to meet production goals.
Ability to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
Availability to work most store hours, especially on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Sorting clothing with an eye for quality and alertness to defects to ensure merchandise meets Goodwill's quality standards.
Hanging and tagging clothing efficiently and quickly, avoiding distractions.
Maintaining a safe and neat work environment, taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
Potential cross-training in areas such as operating a cash register, receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
