About The Position

Megatel Homes is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated Closings Coordinator to support and manage the home closing process from contract to close. We are a growing homebuilder seeking a driven “go-getter” who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow within the organization. This role is critical in ensuring all closing activities are completed accurately, on time, and with a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and experience in homebuilding, title, or mortgage transactions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3+ years of experience in closings, title, mortgage, or real estate transactions
  • Strong understanding of the sales and closing process
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize without compromising deadlines or quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Customer service-focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with a homebuilder (highly preferred)
  • Background in title companies or mortgage lending
  • Familiarity with real estate closing documents and processes

Responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, and manage contract files from start to closing
  • Coordinate all aspects of the closing process with sales agents, construction managers, lenders, title companies, and homebuyers
  • Ensure all financial aspects of transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented
  • Review, process, and maintain contracts, amendments, cancellations, and terminations
  • Track and maintain backlog reports and update the closing calendar, ensuring all parties are informed
  • Schedule closing appointments and confirm timelines
  • Process earnest money and option fees
  • Prepare and review closing files for accuracy and completeness
  • Upload and distribute all relevant contract documentation to appropriate parties
  • Communicate proactively to identify and resolve issues that may delay closings
  • Complete tasks needed to successfully finalize closings
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure smooth and positive buyer experience
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
