About The Position

Perform a variety of tasks in the closing process of the blade. This role involves preparing shells for closure, applying glue, and assisting with the demoulding of the blade. The technician will be responsible for ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Requires wearing of respirator.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience
• Previous Manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Perform closing tasks following work instructions.
• Wear all personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage.
• Remove infusion bag from shells using crane.
• Prepare shells for closure – vacuum all debris in shells, side grind flange area, apply brackets, mark up all areas.
• Apply glue to flanges and web when shells are repaired and prepped.
• For demoulding of the blade, remove root plate and install demould ring on root along with arial lift to remove blade from mould using cranes.
• Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines.
