About The Position

Good Harvest Market is seeking a dependable and experienced Closing Manager to serve as the Manager on Duty during closing shifts. This role involves ensuring the store runs smoothly in the absence of daytime leadership, acting as a keyholder responsible for store security, and supporting all areas of the store. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, operating the register, working in departments like meat and deli, and ensuring the store is presentable before closing. On Friday nights, assistance may be required at the onsite restaurant, Hop Harvest & Vine Public House, particularly during live music events.

Requirements

  • Dependability and experience.
  • Ability to provide direction to team members as needed in the absence of department managers.
  • Ability to report issues to the appropriate manager or store leadership.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and climbing.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.
  • Prior MOD, shift manager, or keyholder experience in retail or food service is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates presence, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Manager on Duty during closing shifts.
  • Act as a keyholder responsible for securing and locking the store.
  • Support all corners of the store, including facing and stocking grocery and produce.
  • Operate a register when needed.
  • Work at the meat and deli counters.
  • Ensure the store is presentable before closing.
  • Assist in expediting food and supporting the restaurant floor on Friday nights during live music events.
