Closing/Escrow Manager
About The Position

The Closing Escrow Manager will supervise the closing/escrow team, track and report on the progress of open escrows, prepare sales reports and escrow flow charts, and prepare and review individual lot escrow instructions. Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in mortgage and title processes
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Excel, JD Edwards
- Professionally perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines
- Good writing and organization skills
- Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty
- Team player with the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to interact well with co-workers
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and direct workload of closing associate(s)
- Schedule & coordinate NHO and settlement date and times with Production & NHC’s
- Process Closing Instructions for submission to Lennar Title/Mortgage companies and outside title companies and lenders
- Management of settlement closing questions & issues via email, quick response time required
- Lennar Daily - Settlements & Projections
- Monthly Settlement Backlog Projections
- Update Mortgage Status with Eagle Home Mortgage and contact with outside lenders
- Update JDE & Excel report with mortgage status, NHO & COE dates, and times
- Update COE dates for current sales in JDE
- Review and signing of Seller documents for settlements
- Update and maintain closing calendar
- Create reports in JDE & Excel for weekly distribution to multiple parties
- Settlement Notification Letters to Buyers & NHC’s
- Mortgage, closing & cancellation default letters
- HUD Approval
- Tracking of Temporary U&O’s and Lender Escrows for refunds
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in execution of contracts and other closing documentation
- Assist with assigned projects as needed
